What an incredible honor it was to chair and help bring the first-ever Asia edition of Women in da Vinci Surgery (WIDVS) to life in Singapore! Until now, this platform had been hosted only in the US and Europe—making this a truly groundbreaking moment for our region.
For the first time, trailblazing female robotic surgeons from China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, India, Thailand, and the Philippines gathered under one roof—sharing expertise, breaking barriers, and building a future where women lead innovation in surgery.
India was strongly represented by our pioneering surgeons, reflecting the innovation, leadership, and determination shaping the future of surgery in our country.
