The constant challenge to keep things clean and safe for family itself can take a toll. It is a known fact that mental stress can alter the hormonal status of women which is then reflected on their menstrual cycle. The lack of physical exercise and weight gain adds to this problem. Stress and altered hormones disrupts ovulation.
Depression is a common in women with
endometriosis and they suffer with mental health as a consequence of this.
The social impact of endometriosis reflects from the fact that they are
absent from work, school/college, and often avoiding social activities as
they suffer from intense distress during their menstrual cycles.
Women with chronic pelvic pain benefit if we ask them to relate their history as anamnesis. So my interview for her began from the time she started her menarche.
